The Teachers

The team of teachers, all of whom are former students, work in a collegial way as Jacques Lecoq wished. They divide their schedule between the classes they give in the school and their commitment to the theatre world, as an actor, director or playwright. This enables them to stay in touch with contemporary theatre and nourish their teaching ideas and share them with the students.

François LECOQ

François LECOQ had completed the pedagogical course at the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School (96-97) and he became movement assistant of Jacques Lecoq at the Laboratory of Movement Study - LEM. He also studied Stage Manager at Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow.

In 1995, he created a Theatre Company ANTENA and toured in France with a clown show called ‘ZAP, ZAP, ZAP’. He also worked in different theatre festivals in Edinburgh, Avignon, Paris, Berlin, etc.

He taught movement in the professional course of the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School for several years and now he is teaching at the LEM.
