INITIATION TO THE SCHOOL’S VOYAGE
From the 23 to the 27 March 2026 at 116 rue de la Carreterie, 84000 Avignon
Teachers : Members of the teaching team of the Ecole Jacques Lecoq
This course will be given in both French and English. This course is aimed at anybody who would like to discover Jacques Lecoq’s pedagogy.
This workshop is about discovering play, specifically with the school’s pedagogical approach.
We will go from replay of everyday life – observation of life, its rhythms, its dynamics, the silence that precedes speech – all the way to the neutral mask that will structures the actor’s play all while maintaining what is real and elevating it to a poetic dimension.
Movement classes will accompany improvisation classes:
-Physical preparation
-Movement Analysis
9am-11:30am / 1pm-3:30pm – 25 hours of classes
Fee: 500 euros
Reduced fee (students, depending on available places): 300€

- two recent photos: a portrait and one from top to toe (JPG format)
Fee: €500
Payment: €200 deposit upon acceptance of the application form (non-refundable in the event of withdrawal). The balance (300€) is payable 3 weeks before the start of the course.
No dress code is required. However, we recommend that you wear loose-fitting, plain-coloured clothing and soft gym shoes.
